On Tuesday, Gov. Wolf signed a renewal for the state’s 90-day Proclamation of Disaster Emergency, according to a release.
This is the third renewal that the governor has signed since the start of the pandemic.
“With cases and hospitalizations increasing, we cannot afford to let down our guard,” said Governor Wolf. “This renewal will allow the commonwealth to maintain its response and support efforts as we face increasing case numbers and decreasing hospital capacity.”
The newel of the disaster declaration also allows for continued support to state agencies responding to the virus, as well as continued support and relief for Pennsylvanians and businesses that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
