Georgia Certification and Senate Runoffs

The results of the Election Recount in Georgia will be Certified on Monday. They were expected to be Certified by Friday. However, some Counties didn’t fully finish the upload to the Secretary of State‚Äôs website. President-elect Joe Biden won the State of Georgia. The Trump Campaign asked for a Recount, but the State’s Secretary of State said the results haven’t changed, and Biden is still the Winner of Georgia’s 16 Electoral Votes.

As we await the results from Georgia, the President was there Saturday night, rallying supporters and hoping to keep the State’s Senate seats in Republican hands. However, some in the GOP are worried the President’s message may actually do more harm than good for those critical runoff races. On Saturday, President Trump called Georgia’s Governor Kemp and unsuccessfully requested he convince State Legislators to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s Win in the State.

President Donald Trump rallying support for Georgia’s two Republican Senators, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue who are both facing runoff races against Democrats Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossof. This as he casts doubt on how the State administered the Election that saw Biden defeat him. Those attacks have some Georgia State Republicans worried about Trump’s involvement, with some concerned that his questioning the integrity of the Presidential Elections could keep Republican voters away from the polls on January 5th.

Local Attorney and Trump ally Lin Wood has claimed that the Presidential Election was rigged. The two Georgia Runoff Races will determine whether Republicans can maintain control of the Senate. And both sides are pouring Millions of Dollars into the State hoping to gain that majority.
