Gaunt Charges

A South Fork woman who was charged last year for the alleged sexual assault of a young boy was sentenced last week, according to the Cambria County District Attorney’s office.

Authorities say Tracy Gaunt, 37, was sentenced to serve 3 to 24 months in Cambria County Prison after pleading guilty to one felony count of corruption of minors in December.

Gaunt and her husband, James, were accused of forcing a young boy to watch them have sex, and, on several occasions, would force him to participate in such acts, according to a criminal affidavit.

Authorities note that “based upon witness statements,” the case against James Gaunt was dismissed.

Officials note that Tracy Gaunt must also register as a sex offender as part of her sentencing.
