Over the weekend one former Richland Ram made history. UVA graduate Ethan Dabbs won a National Championship in Javelin at the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships held in Oregon

Over the weekend his status elevated to National Champion. Dabbs claimed Gold with his 6th and final throw of the competition. Dabbs won the title with a throw of 81.29 meters which is 266 feet and 8 inches.
