A DuBois man will likely spend years behind bars after being convicted on all the charges he faced in the re-trial of child sex abuse case in Clearfield County.
Last week, officials say Sean Lechiara returned to Clearfield County court where a jury found him guilty on all 134 counts that he faced.
Lechiara was accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl, beginning when she was approximately 12 years old.
In April, a mistrial was declared in the case after the jury became “deadlocked” on a verdict.
Following the two-day re-trial, officials say a jury found Lechiara guilty on all counts, which includes 10 counts of felony child rape and dozens of counts of aggravated indecent assault.
According to the Clearfield County DA’s office, each child rape charges carries a minimum sentence of 96 months to 20 years in prison.
Online court records show that Lechiara is scheduled to be sentenced on January 20th.
