The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,380 Coronavirus cases in the state Friday, bringing the statewide total to 169,308 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-one percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 6,506 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 66 total deaths.
Seventy-six new cases were reported in our viewing area.
Centre reported 31 additional cases, Cambria reported 23, Huntingdon reported 9, Blair reported 7, Clearfield reported 3, Somerset reported 2 and Bedford reported 1 new case.
State health officials reported 9 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,308.
Blair County reported its 20th virus-related death.
