The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,036 Coronavirus cases in the state Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 165,243 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-two percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 6,154 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 63 total deaths.
One hundred and sixty-three new cases were reported in our viewing area Tuesday.
Centre reported 127 additional cases, Blair reported 15 and Cambria reported 12.
Huntingdon County reported three new cases, Bedford County reported two new cases while Jefferson and Somerset counties reported one each.
State health officials reported 17 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,244.
