The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,156 Coronavirus cases in the state Thursday bringing the statewide total to 160,123 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-two percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 5,517 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 62 total deaths.
One hundred-six new cases were reported in our viewing area: Centre reported an additional 45 cases, Cambria reported 26, Blair reported 12, Bedford, Huntingdon and Somerset each reported 5 new cases and Clearfield and Jefferson each reported 4 additional cases.
State health officials reported 18 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,160.
