The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,153 Coronavirus cases in the state Wednesday bringing the statewide total to 158,967 throughout all 67 counties.
Eighty-two percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
There have been 5,411 confirmed cases in our viewing area since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health, and 60 total deaths.
State health officials reported 19 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 8,142.
Seventy-six new cases were reported in our 10-county viewing area Wednesday.
Centre County reported 43 new cases, Huntingdon County reported 12 new cases, Blair County reported 11 new cases and Cambria County reported six .
Meanwhile, Bedford County reported two cases while Somerset and Clearfield counties each reported one new case.
