DOH COVID-19 Update

4,247 New COVID-19 cases were added to the Pennsylvania Department Of Health’s dashboard Today.

The good news is that brings the 7-day average down for the 5th consecutive day.

But sadly 13 more people have died statewide from the virus

And hospitalizations from covid are continuing to increase with 14 new ones.

In our 10 county viewing area 364 more cases were added today with Blair and Centre counties leading the way with 65 each.

Clearfield County’s 18 new cases put them over the 10-thousand case mark since the start of the pandemic.

One more person has died from the virus in our area and they were from Cambria County.

And while case numbers are going down all counties in Pennsylvania continue to have that high rate of transmission according to the CDC

Which means they recommend mask wearing indoors.
