DOH COVID-19 Update

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 816 Coronavirus cases in the state Wednesday bringing the statewide total to 135,611 throughout all 67 counties.

Eighty-two percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.

There have now been 2,602 confirmed cases in our viewing area, according to the Department of Health, and 44 total deaths.

Seventy-four new cases were reported in our viewing area: Forty-seven cases were reported in Centre Co., Clearfield reported 7, Cambria reported 6, Somerset reported 5, Blair and Huntingdon each reported 3, Bedford reported 2 and Elk reported 1 additional case.

State health officials reported 21 Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 7,712.
