COVID-19 Update June 19th

The Department of Health reports just 177 new Coronavirus cases on Saturday, Pennsylvania continues to decrease its daily totals in COVID cases. The 7-day average now at its lowest levels since the opening weeks of the Pandemic back in March 2020. No deaths were reported on Saturday Statewide, and hospitalizations are now down to just 441.

We have 2 day totals for you on local case counts. 34 Cases in the past 2 days. Here Locally, Centre reported 10, Huntingdon 8, Cambria with 6, and Blair and Somerset with 4 each. Clearfield and Jefferson both reported one new case, and Bedford, Cameron and Elk Counties reporting none.

3 Local Deaths were reported from Friday, they came from Blair, Cambria, and Somerset Counties.

Statewide: the CDC says 58.7% of the Adult Population is fully is fully vaccinated. The State will fall well short of reaching the Health Department’s 70% Goal by June 28th, the date set to end the Mask Mandate for those unvaccinated unless that 70% mark was reached before then.
