COVID-19 Update January 25th

The Department of Health confirmed 3,934 new Coronavirus cases in the State on Monday, with 283 of those reporting from our region. Since the beginning of the Pandemic, there have been more than 807,800 cases of the Virus in the State.

Looking at Monday’s reported cases by County: Centre County reported 83 more cases, Cambria County had 55, Blair County had 45, Somerset County had 32, Clearfield County had 21, Bedford County reported 16, Huntingdon and Jefferson County each had 12, Elk County had 6 and Cameron County had 1.

The DOH also reported 55 more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 20,664. 7 more deaths were confirmed in our viewing area on Monday. Officials also say 79% of the State’s total cases are considered to be recovered.
