COVID-19 case counts are now at their highest mark since early May. 3,790 new cases were added across Pennsylvania Saturday on the Department of Health’s dashboard. The 7-day average is now above 3,000. That average does not include the over 5,000 cases the DOH says were dumped into this week from old results. 28 more people have died across the Commonwealth and Hospitalizations rose by 27 people.
In our 10-County viewing area, 234 cases were reported. Cambria County led the way with 41 cases and Blair and Centre are following with 38 and Somerset with 36.
Thankfully, no more people have died in our area from the virus in Saturday’s reporting.
