Officials with Conemaugh Health System say they’re now allowing limited visitations.
The Conemaugh Health System had implemented a zero-visitor protocol prior to Tuesday’s announcement.
Officials say the decision was made as current projections show lower than expected COVID-19 cases in the region.
Most patients will now be allowed to have one visitor at a time.
Officials say all visitors will be screened upon entry and will be required to wear a mask and armband.
Following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, officials say they will continue to screen everyone for COVID-19 symptoms.
