The Department of Health has opened a regional COVID-19 testing site at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center.
The health department says they will be able to test up to 450 patients per day at the site.
The state has also set up these mobile units in other counties across the state, including in Bedford and Cambria counties in recent weeks.
Health officials say testing sites will change each week over the next nine weeks so that 61 of the state’s 67 counties will eventually be covered.
Tests will take two-to-seven days to yield results, and the health department urges anyone who is tested to self-quarantine until the test comes back.
The clinic will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, until Thursday.
Anyone over age three can be tested, and symptoms are not required to be eligible for a test.
Appointments are also not necessary, and the tests are free.
In the past two weeks, Clearfield County has reported a little over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases.
