Clarion River Flooding Concerns

And there has been concern for the Clarion River Today because of that rain

Which runs through parts of Elk County & along the Northern border of Jefferson County.

Ridgway Borough emergency management officials say

They will keep an eye on the river in the borough and coordinate plans with local officials if there is flooding.

Officials say their action stage is when water hits 11 feet.

“The 911 center has already has already sent out the swift reach notification, it just advises the people that to keep an eye on the river levels and things like that.
That way it’s good and they do it early because that way, the people can monitor everything that’s going on.”

The river is expected to crest between 14 and 16 and half feet sometime Tomorrow.
