It’s the headline you’re hearing all across the County. Former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin was found Guilty on all charges in the May 2020 Death of George Floyd.
Those charges include Second-Degree Unintentional Murder, Third-Degree Murder, and Second-Degree Manslaughter. The Jury reached the Verdict after about 10 hours of Deliberation over the course of 2 days.
In the Courtroom following the Conviction, Chauvin was handcuffed and taken into custody while outside Rallyers celebrated the victory with George Floyd’s Family. Sharing their grief and sense of relief.
