Looking ahead the Centre Foundation will be hosting its annual Centre Gives fundraising campaign next week.
The online only donation campaign will allow donors to choose from several participating agencies and then the foundation will match a portion of the money raised for each.
One agency participating is Centre Wildlife care which provides urgent health care to injured wildlife.
“This is an opportunity where we can keep an animal that is handicapped, but could still have a good quality of life, and use them for educational outreach. So, this owl goes to
schools and programs to learn, so we can teach people about natural history and wildlife, and what to do if you find a wild animal that needs help.”
The donation campaign begins may 10th at 9 am and lasts until 9 pm on May 11th.
