Officials with the local school district say they’re addressing what they describe as an inflammatory social media post made by a member of their staff.
We spoke with parents in the Cambria Heights School District Today and they tell us the post was regarding the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump
The district further stated in part quote
“Such inflammatory comments have no place in public school classrooms while the district cannot comment on specific personnel matters it affirms that such comments will not be tolerated within its facilities.”

“Although the school district has limited control over employee actions on social media outside of work hours it maintains full control over classroom instruction and content and will ensure that inappropriate remarks are not permitted in school settings.”
Now while the district is not confirming what the post said
We have viewed an alleged screenshot of the original post in which the school employee reportedly made inflammatory remarks in regard to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
School employees and public officials nationwide have faced discipline in recent days for making similar social media posts about the former President
A spokesperson from the district says the comment was recently made by an employee and that the issue has been addressed.
While the district is not confirming the words expressed in the post nor the identity of the employee officials say that the views expressed do not reflect the views of the district and its board
