After a video involving animal abuse was circulating online the Johnstown Police Department says they have the suspect in custody.
The video was from a Ring Doorbell showing a man later identified as Tramale Lockett punching his dog in the face 4-5 times, then picking the dog up by the neck and dragging it down the street.
Police followed up on several tips and collaborated with the Cambria County Humane Society to find the man’s address and arrested him without incident.
Lockett is now facing animal abuse related charges and disorderly conduct.
The dog has been taken in by the humane society for treatment and is expected to survive the injuries.
