There was a ribbon cutting ceremony Today by the Community Arts Center of Cambria County for the new M. Josephine Paul Family Museum.
The new facility honors the late Josephine Paul who was a local artist and art educator who helped fund the Community Arts Center.
Inside, her work is on display.
The museum will provide a venue for local school districts to showcase future artists from around the area.
“It’s been a very long time coming Josephine Paul passed away about 20 years ago and it took years to get the right people in place to get this project to come to fruition and we’re grateful for the skill of our vp who really helped guide us through this project.”
Officials say they believe it will be a premier event venue in the West Hills.
