Bishop McCort Catholic High School students got the chance to participate in the livin’ on a Prayer Church Tour Today.
They toured several Catholic churches throughout the area, with the goal of learning more about their faith and the traditions that come from this multi cultural area.
One of their stops was the Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Leaders say it’s important to understand the different perspectives of Christianity.
“I think it goes a long with what’s going on now in the world with the war on Ukraine and how important it is to come to church.”
“We shared our worship and how it’s so much alike but there are differences and it was just so wonderful to have this many people coming to learn about their faith and
differences in their faith.”
Davidson says he hopes that everyone will celebrate Easter this Sunday and continue to pray for those suffering in Ukraine.
