Big changes are coming to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
For the first time in 18 seasons a new Quarterback will start under center.
For the first time in 22 years a new General Manager will be in charge.
And for the first time since 2001 the Steelers will no longer play at Heinz Field.
That’s because the team announced that the stadium has a new name.
It will now be called Acrisure Stadium
After a Michigan-based insurance brokerage firm
Which signed a 15-year deal for the naming rights of the Steelers home.
The financial terms of the deal have not yet been released.
Acrisure operates a top 10 global insurance broker.
In just 8 years the company has grown rapidly from $38 million in revenue to more than $3.8 Billion.
Acrisure will immediately take over naming rights to the Steelers North Shore Stadium starting this season.
