And in Bedford County this is how much flooding one building owner has in their home along East Pitt Street.
This is a back building behind the apartment he owns.
He says he had 5 feet of water at one point in the basement of the apartment building.
Fire fighters helped him pump out the water this morning.
The Raystown Branch of the Juniata River sits right behind these buildings and eventually the rain was just too much.
“It was crazy yeah crazy. We have a farm just north of here and we have trees down and fence lines damaged so it’s going to be a few weeks if not a month or two of cleanup for us”
And this was the scene just up the road in front of a Giant Eagle on East Pitt Street which is closed today.
The aisles in the store were flooded.
