Bedford Bisons vs. Westmont Hilltoppers

Bedford’s Football Team coming off a big win over Richland last week trying to prove they’re a top team Saturday in a battle of unbeatens. The 2-0 Bisons traveled to the Johnstown area to take on 2-0 Westmont Hilltop. To Price Field we go, where fans were allowed in the stands for the first time this Season, but Hilltopper fans might have had to shield their eyes on Saturday. In the 1st quarter, 1st and goal for Bedford, Steven Ressler takes the pitch and he beats the Hilltoppers to the outside for the 5 yard touchdown to open the scoring for Bedford. Later in the 1st, Swaim play action, fools the Hilltoppers and our cameraman. Swaim keeps it himself and he scampers in for the 34 yard touchdown run. Hilltoppers trying to get some momentum going in the 2nd. Swaim going long down the field but Westmont’s Alex Ray picks it off. But Westmont wouldn’t capitalize on the turnover. Bedford moving again, Trent Price takes the hand-off up the middle, plows through 2 Hilltoppers, and just breaks the plain for the score. Mercury Swaim would get another QB keeper into the end zone in the 3rd, as Bedford gets the road shutout over Westmont Hilltop. 28-0.
