Good news for our viewers out in Altoona we are just two days away from opening day at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The Curve will open up Tuesday May 4th against the Bowie Baysox a Baltimore Orioles affiliate.
The Curve released the opening day roster this weekend and it features eight of the top 30 prospects in the Pirates organization manager Miguel Perez said the team wants to win but he also wants to focus on preparing these guys for the next level which he doesnt consider Triple-A, he wants his guys to get to the big leagues the Curve are going with a 6 man pithcing rotation and after having a season off due to covid this is Miguel’s plan for the how long the pitchers will go each game
