Its hard to believe given the state of baseball just about a month ago but we are full systems go on a complete Major and Minor League Baseball season the lockout is behind us and we have a few opening days to look forward to
The Pirates open the season up in St Louis Tomorrow and return home for the home opener next Tuesday the Altoona Curve however begin the year at home this Friday
And there is plenty of buzz this year in Toona Town the roster is stacked with some of the Pirates both prospects and the consensus is that the Curve can contend for another League Championship.
Today the Curve hosted virtual media day and got some light work done on the field at PNG
Number one pick in 2020 7th overall out of New Mexico State Nick Gonzales will begin the year in Altoona as the Pirates top ranked prospect
And another highly sought after prospect Pitcher Mike Burrows will also begin the year out with the Curve both have pretty lofty expectations for this season.
