And an alert for some in Somerset County residents tonight, Addison residents, Addison Borough residents, to be specific, are urged to conserve water as levels in the
Addison Area Water Authority’s reservoir continues to deplete.
Leaks were detected in that system this past weekend, and while repairs are ongoing, officials believe that there are still more leaks to be found.
Addison Borough continues to look for donations of pallets of bottled water, which are then going to be distributed to area residents.
Any organization wishing to donate water should contact State Representative Matthew Darling’s office.
But if you are without water and need assistance, you are urged to call Addison Borough Mayor Sam Collins.
