Artifacts from the World Trade Center attacks made their way from the Flight-93 Memorial to the Port Matilda American Legion this evening escorted by the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club.
Items, such as a helmet, 2 metal stairway signs, and an American Flag were among other items displayed this evening.
We’re told a private collector had these items. And they were not available to seen by the public, until recently.
The motorcycle club says the significance of this is for people to never forget the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001
“The most important piece of this is never to forget. That’s what we promised when this all happened, never forget. We’re not going to forget this big piece of American history. And any proud american should be happy to see, to be able to view these things, reflect on what actually happened. So that way we truly do never forget.”
The items were displayed in Port Matilda and will be driven to South Carolina Wednesday Morning.
