5 Star Mitsubishi Zone 9/11 – Part 3

Welcome back to the 5-Star Mitsubishi High School Football Zone. We head out to Bedford County where a pair of rivals met up. The Bedford Bisons and the Chestnut Ridge Lions have quite the history between the two, and another chapter was written in the history books Friday. Chestnut Ridge visiting Bedford. These are two of the top teams from the LHAC in 2019 facing off. Midway First Quarter, just outside Redzone. Bedford’s Mercury Swaim rolls out and hits Ethan Webber who brings it in for the TD. Early second quarter, Swaim with a keeper, he waltzes in 14-0. Before the half, Elijah Cook scores making it 21-0. In the third quarter, Swaim with another keeper. This is incredible, he won’t go down and hes in from 56 yards out making it 28-0. Bedford goes on to Win it 35-7.

The Conemaugh Health Systems Defense of the Week goes to Bishop McCort. Amir Ortega-Andrews with the strip, Brendon Bair with the recovery.

The Conemaugh Health Systems Offense of the Week goes to Owen Prasko of Northern Cambria. On their own 32 yard line, Prasco caught a short pass up the sideline and went 68 yards for the Touchdown.

The Envision Laser Center Catch of the Week goes to Homer Center’s Drew Kochman with a great toe tapping catch in the Endzone as the Wildcats knocked off rival United on Friday.

The Surplus City Play of the Week will go to Mercury Swaim of Bedford. He broke through some tackles and ran 56 yards to the house.
