Police in Bethlehem say a man who lost his cool over a Cigar Store’s mask policy and pulled a gun on the Clerk, was shot and seriously wounded himself after a standoff with Police Saturday morning. Police say Adam Zaborowski became upset Friday when the store Clerk told him he needed to wear a mask inside. The Clerk offered to bring him cigars outside, but Police say the man grabbed two cigars and left. The Clerk followed the man outside where he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and fired two shots at the Clerk and one in the air.
State Police say Zaborowski got into a shootout this morning with State and Local Police after barricading himself. He was struck by a bullet and later flown to an area Medical Center for treatment. He faces Attempted Homicide and other charges.
