2nd Arrest Made in Altoona Shooting

Another man has been arrested for a shots fired incident that happened in Altoona Aug. 12.

According to the Altoona Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, 48-year-old Clifford Baxter is now facing charges for his involvement.

Authorities say the incident happened in the parking lot of Zach’s Sports and Spirits, along 58th Street and 6th Ave., when a fight between a group of people led to gunfire.

Police say Baxter and 26-year-old Fa Arah Marke Robinson shot at each other, but no one was injured.

Police say Robinson was taken into custody Aug. 16.

According to police, Baxter is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, firearms offenses, and associated charges.
