2 Dead in Pittsburgh Shooting

Another display of Gun Violence at a House Party Sunday morning attended by 200 people. Two 17-year-olds were killed and 8 others were injured after a shooting at an Airbnb. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as Jaiden Brown and Matthew Steffy-Ross.

A family with children from Charlotte were staying in the unit below. They had been in town for the Holidays since Wednesday. They said the music started shaking the walls and it reached the point where they decided to leave at about 11:30pm Saturday Night. Police say the shooting was just about an hour later.

Police markers show that roughly 90 shots were fired. In response to the shooting, Pittsburgh Public Schools will be using a modified lockdown today, which means that only people with scheduled appointments will be permitted in School buildings.
