All You Can Eat Breakfast

Description:The Bellefonte Knights of Columbus will sponsor their All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast on Sunday April 23, 2017 to benefit Cub Scout Pack 35. We are open to the public from 8:30 am until Noon. $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12, and free for children under 7. The menu includes orange juice, bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, French toast, pancakes, sausage gravy, oatmeal or grits, hot syrup, peaches, waffles, coffee and hot chocolate. We make specialty eggs and Blueberry or Chocolate chip pancakes upon request. Eat in and Take out is available. Riversongs Music Festival

Description:Join PVCA for the 7th Annual Riversongs Festival at the Elk Creek Cafe in Millheim on Sunday, April 23rd. Running from 3-6pm, this festive event will include live music, craft beers and fine foods available from the Café menu. A suggested $10 donation at the door goes to support the work of the Penns Valley Conservation Association. The diverse musical line-up promises something for everyone with folky Irish music from Celtica, doo-wop from RamaLama, and roots pop from Centrallica. Another exciting happening at Riversongs 2017 is the drawing of winners for the Riversongs Raffle. Description:The 2017 Old House Fair, in its second year, offers an exciting two day menu of workshops and bus facilitated tours of the Bellefonte Historic District that will kick off with banquet and internationally known authority on historic preservation, Ed McMahon. McMahon, along with over a dozen state and local experts will present programs about historic preservation and why it is good for our communities. Maintenance challenges of old houses, architectural styles, historic landscaping, and historic masonry among other topics of interest will also be available to old house enthusiasts. Registration is required for the banquet and highly encouraged for all programming in order to reserve a seat at the programs you would like to attend. While Friday’s program is available to everyone, it is tailored to professionals, and continuing education credits are available for a variety of professions. Morning and afternoon workshops are $20 each. The Keynote/banquet is $60. Saturday’s program is for everyone at $10 for the day and registration is available online for all Old House Fair programming at centrehistory.org/ohf. Description:The Greater Johnstown Community Chorus will present their spring concert “100 Years of Music” on Friday, April 28th, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1000 Scalp Avenue and on Saturday, April 29th, at First Lutheran Church, 415 Vine Street. Under the direction of John Livingston, the concert highlights favorite tunes over the decades such as Irving Berlin’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz” from the 1920’s to the acapella piece “Sing Me to Heaven” from the 1990’s.
