|Description:||On Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store will hold its Second Annual Prom, Bridal, Designer & Vintage Trunk Sale in the Our Lady of Victory Church Activity Center, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College. This year, the Love It Upcycle Boutique will also take part in the Trunk Sale; this second hand store recently opened a shop at 938 West College Avenue in State College in addition to their original store at 11949 William Penn Highway, Huntingdon. The Boutique features wonderful clothing in current trending styles—all at affordable prices. Music for this event will be provided by Ken Hart DJ Music Service.
The Thrift Store inventory for the Trunk Sale includes
• beautiful Prom Dresses (both long and short) in a wide variety of colors and styles;
• amazing Wedding Gowns from Alfred Angelo, David’s Bridal, and more;
• excellent Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses;
• a treasure trove of fine and fashion Jewelry perfect for your special event;
• Tuxedos/Men’s Suits appropriate for weddings, proms, and musicians’ concert dress;
• lovely suits and accessories from name brand Designers;
• gorgeous Vintage furs, clothes, and handbags; and
• stunning Shoes for all occasions.
These items—many brand new with tags!—will be offered at this sale at incredibly reasonable prices. Proceeds from the SVdP sale will benefit those in need in our community. Through person-to-person involvement, members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provide discreet assistance, both spiritually and materially, to needy families and individuals regardless of their religion, race, or ethnicity. Financial assistance is provided for a wide range of needs including medical care, housing, utilities, food, clothing, transportation, and much more. A large portion of the funds for this help comes from our Thrift Store, located in the Westerly Parkway Plaza.
