The Penn State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering Business Financial Management Essentials. This series will provide business owners and managers with the skills and knowledge needed to set up an accounting system, track income and expenses, maintain financial records, understand and analyze cash flow and utilize QuickBooks™ accounting software for their businesses. Many businesses have ‘gone broke while making a profit.’ Why does this happen? Because profit doesn’t necessarily mean cash.
