It is the largest student run philanthropy event in the world. It is Penn State's tradition and given that the football team has a bye week this week many in Centre County found another way to say busy. It was a brisk morning but when you combine thousands of enthusiastic college kids spirits will rise. Saturday's race officially kicks off the Thon 2013 campaign season, which leads up to the big dance off in February but this is more than just students dancing or running. This is about raising money to help fight pediatric cancer.
