A Johnstown man accused of beating another man on his property was in court Tuesday. Joshua Miller is facing several charges after Police say he punched a man in the face, knocked him to the ground and then stomped on his throat. Police say it happened after Police the victim asked Miller to move his car. Miller claims it was self defense. John Carothers testified Tuesday that he had just returned home early in the morning on May13th when he found two cars parked on his property in Suburban Johnstown. Carothers said when asked one of the drivers, later identified as Joshua Miller to move his car Carothers said Miller punched him in the face twice before knocking him to the ground and stomping on his throat.
