An Elk County man ordered to spend months in jail, plus write an apology note, after pleading guilty to burglarizing a church. Brandon Ott was the last of five people who broke into the Gardner Hill Community Church in Weedville in October to be sentenced. The group stole several items and left a dead deer at the alter. The St. Mary's Daily Press reports Ott will spend up to twenty four months behind bars and will have to pay a five hundred dollar fine. Also, as part of his restitution, the St. Mary's Daily Press reports that Ott will also have to write an apology letter to church members.
