Witnesses heard ammunition going off around the time of the blaze but firefighters say the man who lived in the house was an avid hunter and the ammo was likely going off as a result of the heat from the blaze.  At least 60 Firefighters were on scene.  Neighbors in Elk County say this home quickly burned down on a back road about 15 miles outside of the Ridgeway around 9 this morning.  The home is in ruins and authorities can't find the homeowner.  It's unclear if he was inside or maybe if he was out of town.  But the blaze does not appear to be suspicious.
