Back in June a PennDOT worker was hit by a car. Bill Charlton was working along Route 30 in Shade Township. He said he doesn't remember much after the accident but he does recall what happened before the car hit him. He shared his story and he hopes it will serve as a reminder to slow down. It's been almost two months since he was hit by a car while working as a flagger for PennDOT. But that's when the vehicle struck the back of a stopped which then hit Charlton throwing him 20 feet into the air.
