Governor Tom Corbett says he will do whatever it takes to see that the Route 219 project in Somerset County is completed.  The plan has been talked about since the 1970's nearly coming to fruition several times but ultimately failing to.  There has been renewed hope to get started after President Obama signed a Transportation Bill Friday.  It grants 3 billion dollars for Pennsylvania projects.  The Bill also allows for the use of Toll Credits.  Governor Corbett says the completion of the project will be in his words important for Somerset County and the entire Southern Alleghenies Region.
