Local Law enforcement Departments working together to deter drunk driving.  If your up late driving you could find yourself stopped at a DUI Taskforce Checkpoint.  This checkpoint was set up in Richland on Scalp Avenue late Friday night with about 17 Officers from different agencies from around Cambria County came together to combat drinking and driving.  Is it effective? Olice say yes in part because they left the public know about them and it's all about changing the behavior.  Police say some 450 cars were stopped.  Seven DUI's, two drug violations and several citations were issued.
