Organizers of the summertime motorcycle rally known as Thunder in the Valley say their decision to hire a national vendor to handle beer sales during the three day event will save money. The Convention and Visitors Bureau decided to hire Broken Spokes Saloon this year rather then have Oakland Volunteer Fire Company handle beer sales as in past years. Broken Spoke says all of it's beer will be purchased from local distributors and CVB Officials say the deal helps them cut costs.
