At a moments notice they drop everything and race to the scene but the hardest call for first responders when it involves on of their own.  This Mount Union Ambulance had just transported a patient to the hospital and the crew were on their way back home when the ambulance swerved across the four lane stretch of Route 22 and slammed into an embankment hit a sign and rolled onto its passenger side around six thirty this morning.  State troopers are still trying to piece together exactly what happened but they say twenty two year old Ethan Amsbaugh was not wearing his seatbelt and was partially ejected.  He died at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital.  The driver, fifty five year old Deborah Mease was treated for minor injuries and released.  The loss comes as the department was looking forward to the delivery of a brand new ambulance, an addition to the fleet, in just a few weeks.
