Johnstown police have released a photo of a man they say is connected to the shooting in Hornerstown early Friday morning. Police say 30-year-old Darryl Thomas is connected to the shooting and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-472-2100. Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Johnstown that left one man in critical condition. City police say the shooting happened along Oak Street sometime around 3:20 a.m. Friday. According to an initial report, police say the victim is a 34-year-old man from Clearfield. Police say he was driven to Johnstown, where he met with another person along Oak Street with the intent to buy narcotics. Moments later, authorities say the man was shot in the leg and ran back to the car that brought him to the city. Police say that same car was used to transport him to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center before police were notified. Police say there were no calls to 911 reporting the shooting when it took place. Authorities say the man lost a lot of blood due to his injury and was last listed in critical condition following surgery. Police cleared the scene around 6 a.m.
