We are going to introduce you to a man who not only has served our country but continues serving his fellow veterans in any way that he can. "I get a lot of thank you from people inside of the area and outside of the area. People say keep going, so I will." Meet a Korean war veteran Lloyd peck who served in Korea and he was in the United States Marine Corps as a first lieutenant. At 87 years old, he is not letting his age slow him down. "I command the war veterans council we take care of malls like this. I also serve in the Blair County veterans honor guard. I am kept very busy." He also helps veteran with the VA transition into veterans homes and is in charge of both of the Veterans Day parades. When asked why he doesn't has his duties onto the next person, his response was simple. "I look at it this way, if we wouldn't have fought the 2nd world war we would not be free like we are today. I think we have to thank the veterans a lot for what we have done, coming back here to a free America" for this parade like all the rest Lloyd set up everything to the last detail. "There is a lot of work involved, but I enjoy doing it, and I get cards from people saying thank you and stuff like that, which I appreciate. I had 41 calls yesterday, and 14 of them were thanking me for the memorial day parade and what I do"
