Governor Tom Wolf made a stop in Blair County today as part of his tour to battle blight in the state. Local leaders took a tour with the governor to blighted areas of Altoona. "You look at a place like this with beautiful buildings that are not being used, that have been abandoned for years and are in tough shape so the kind of patient capital that can come from restore Pennsylvania, billions of dollars, that is the kind of thing that can address this kind of issue in communities all across Pennsylvania." After leaving Altoona, governor wolf made his way to Clearfield County where he spoke with students, faculty and staff at the Clearfield area high school about that or broadband access. He said better access to high- speed broadband will include educational opportunities for students and educators . "There are many times that I will have to come into school early to get my work done because I don't have internet access at home. Well I'm lucky enough to be able to drive myself in and my parents are able to get my brothers to school on time, many others aren't."
