Police arrested a man in East Taylor Township Monday in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint. The complaint stated that 31-year-old Patrick Watson forced himself on the victim after she told him no and physically resisted. According to police, another person was in the room at the time of the attack and ran to get help. The victim was able to get away from Watson and call police, according to the complaint. Both the victim and the witness identified the suspect at Watson, police said. Police said Watson denied have any sexual contact with the victim when questioned. He later told police that he and the victim were in contact through out the night, which lead to groping and kissing, the complaint said. Watson was taken to Cambria County Jail with a bond of $50,000, according to court documents. He was charged with rape forcible compulsion, sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and disorderly conduct.
